Talking Story with Jeni Suk
YouTube singing sensation Jeni Suk — who has more than 240,00 subscribers on her channel and was a finalist of “KPop Star,” Korea’s version of “American Idol — will be bringing her talents to Honolulu,headlining a Saturday night concert at Fresh Cafe (doors open at 5:30 p.m.; concert at 6:30 p.m.). Known for her soulful R&B melodies, she’ll be performing as a benefit for the nonprofit, Community Helping Schools, which distributes school supplies, musical instruments, electronic equipment and other items to schools in need. (Attendees are encouraged to bring school supplies to the concert.) Pre-sale tickets are $20 and can be purchased at Fresh Cafe or at The Firm until Saturday afternoon. A limited number of $25 tickets will be sold at the door.
If you can’t make it to the concert, you can still meet Suk at a free Meet & Greet at The Firm on Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
