Summer Beer Dinner Part 2

12th Ave Grill will host its second beer pairing dinner on Wednesday, July 29th.

The special 4-course menu will pair their local Kona Brewing Co. favorites with quality beers from Belgium, England and an American organic brew. Chef Zachary Most and Chef Kevin Hanney have prepared a tasting menu designed to compliment each beer.

Here’s a look at the menu:

First Course
Crispy beer battered Hau’ula green tomatoes Au Gratin with gruyere, blue crab and Kahuku sweet corn salad
Paired with Kona Brewing Co. Longboard Lager & Shocktop Belgian White

Second Course
Beer poached citrus rubbed king salmon with pearl cous cous, summer squash, mint & pickled watermelon rind
Paired with Kona Brewing Co. Golden Ale & Boddingtons Pub Ale

Third Course
Chili rubbed lamb shoulder in puff pastry with white beans, grilled radicchio & anchovy butter
Paired with Kona Brewing Co. Fire Rock Pale Ale & Stone Mill Organic Pale Ale

Fourth Course
Poached Love Farms figs with prosciutto, toasted almonds and Pt. Reyes blue cheese

 

Early Reservations are recommended (2 hour seating). First seating at 5:30 & 6:00, and second seating 7:30 & 8:00. The summer beer tasting menu is available for $45.00 plus tax and gratuity.
