Spotlight: Steel Pulse headlines Republik Festival

Reggae group Steel Pulse returns to Hawaii for the second consecutive year to headline BAMP Project’s second annual Republik Music Festival. Last year, 7,000 people braved intermittent showers for the six-hour show that culminated with an amazing set by Steel Pulse led by front man David Hinds.
Joining Steel Pulse this Saturday at Kaka’ako Park Amphitheater are Slightly Stoopid, G Love, Gyptian & Barrington Levy.
UPDATE: Gyptian, Alborosie & Barrington Levy have been replaced on the performance card with Detour Posse & Half Pint. We’ve also received word that Jack Johnson will be joining G Love during his set at approximately 6:30.
To give you an idea of what to expect, here are pics and video from Steel Pulse’s performance at last year’s Republik Music Festival.
