ShootzHI tweetup

A majority of tweetups in Hawaii center around eating. This is why when Biz Kellam (@Biznaz) called for a tweetup at the Royal Hawaiian Shooting Club, I just had to see what this would entail. Of course, guns were involved, but it wasn’t a show-up, shoot’-em-up free for all. The purpose of this tweetup was not only to shoot guns, but to promote gun safety. Biz, a certified shooting instructor, started out the tweetup with a short class on the safe ways to handle a gun, followed by a rundown of the kinds of weaponry that we would be using. After she explained the safety gear and rules, we were taken into the live shooting area to try out our skills at shooting various firearms.
