Red Bull BPM Launch Party
Special photo contributor Jonas Maon and Nonstop’s John Garcia, Doc Rock and Tracy Chan hit the launch party for Red Bull’s BPM DJ app Thursday to check out the new program and see it in action. The BPM app runs on the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad, and is designed to take the place of an entire DJ setup. The launch night started with a VIP pre-party in NextDoor’s upstairs lounge, where Red Bull reps demonstrated the app, and people got to try it out.
At 9 p.m., the party moved downstairs to the dance floor, with local DJs Eskae, Compose and Delve using the mixing software instead of turntables or laptops to rock the club all night.
