If Lee’s Bakery isn't selling pies this Thanksgiving, where are we left to go? Vote for your favorite!

Feel that breeze? Sweater weather is upon us, or so we like to think. But that also means it’s pie season, and we’re dreaming of all the crusts and fillings we can sink our forks into. There are options, but Lee’s Bakery in Chinatown has warned that they will not be selling holiday pies this Thanksgiving.

That’s devastating for many who rely on the tradition of bringing one of those custard-pumpkin pies to the dessert table. Not as devastating, but still difficult, Epi-Ya, the Japanese bakery by Times Supermarket in Makiki, also posted a flyer announcing they will not be taking Thanksgiving pie orders. An employee confirms they will have pies for sale, but all items will be first come, first served. I imagine the lines will be horrendous.

So, pie people, what are our best options? We’re putting it up to reader vote to let everyone know where they can pick up the best pies this holiday season.

Vote (or write your pick) in the poll below before it closes on Friday, Nov. 10, at 11:59 p.m., and we’ll publish the results next Wednesday. That should give you enough time to plan or place your pre-orders ahead of the crowds.
