Pics: Glow Hawaii Glow Run
Upwards of 3,000 people came out to Aloha Stadium to participate in Hawaii’s first Glow Run, a 5K run with glowsticks, neon outfits and all sorts of glowy things. Some runners took it seriously, and others came in their wildest outfits, as much to party as to run. With DJs spinning high-energy music, glowsticks, blacklights, live performances and a foam pit at the end of the race, it was a memorable event that had runners of all ages glowing all night.
