Party pics: YuZu’s Opening Party
Isamu and Moko Kubota — who own Kaiwa at Waikiki Beach Walk and Kai in Wailea — opened their latest restaurant last night, YuZu, in the Ala Moana Hotel. The Kubotas offered a sampling of their menu, which includes udon, temari sushi (little balls), vegetarian nigiri, French fries with veggie mayo, yakitori with yuzu pepper, and their famous renkon cheese pizza. Oh, yes, and cocktails, wine, beer and champagne, of course.
