Party pics: St. Patrick’s Day Block Party 2014
The biggest St. Patrick’s Day party in the Pacific turned the streets surrounding Murphy’s Bar and Grill into a sea of green on Monday, with an open-air festival serving up a variety of beers, spirits and Irish-themed foods.
The real party started once the sun went down, with Merchant and Nuuanu streets becoming crowded with green-clad partygoers looking for a thrill, local Irish rock bands Doolin’ Rakes and Elephant, and food, beer and spirit booths lining the streets.
