Party pics: Oktoberfest @ Hawaii Prince Hotel
One of the first Oktoberfest celebrations of the year happened at the Hawaii Prince Hotel in Waikiki Saturday night, with traditional beers, wines, liquor and cuisine of Germany in bountiful supply. A few highlights of the event included the beautiful hand-carved ice bar and liquor ice luge, the stein-hoisting contest for both female and male contenders, and the sausage-eating contest, in which participants had to down five bratwurst sausages with buns.
