Party pics: Hoku Kon Preview Day
Hoku Kon, Oahu’s newest comic, science fiction, gaming and fantasy convention, held a preview day Sunday at the DoubleTree by Hilton Alana Waikiki. The preview gave a taste for what’s to come at the inaugural Hoku Kon, organized by the same people who run Kawaii Kon and scheduled for July 24-26, 2015, at the Hawaii Convention Center.
Sunday’s gathering featured cosplayers along with art, hobby and craft vendors. Various geek-themed activities were scheduled throughout the day, such as a trivia contest and cosplay runway.
