Party pics: DFS Galleria Street Party & VIP Reception
DFS Galleria in Waikiki kicked off its worldwide rebranding to “T Galleria” on Saturday night, with a street party and VIP reception at the Galleria itself. The VIP reception was a colorful spectacle, with a red carpet lined with drummers, Polynesian dancers and the elaborately costumed performers from Cirque de Soleil. Spotted on the red carpet: Stars and socialites from all over, including Philippe Schaus, the CEO of DFS Group, “Hawaii Five-0” star Daniel Dae Kim and his wife, actor and “Dancing with the Stars” contestant Ingo Rademacher and Princess Marie-Chantal, the crown princess of Greece, in addition to countless local community, business and political leaders.
On Kalakaua Avenue outside, people partook of the food booths and watched performances on a street stage by local musicans Taimane and Starr Kalahiki and special guests The Noisettes, an award-winning, upbeat indie band from London.
