Outings: My favorite places in Aiea
Where I call home

I’ll admit it, when I was in high school, I couldn’t wait to get out of Aiea. Both sides of my family have deep roots in Aiea. My parents, uncles, aunties, some cousins, my sister and I all graduated from Aiea High School, and after high school, I really wanted to get out of the bubble. What I didn’t realize, though, was how much Aiea is a part of me. Although I appreciate the convenience of living in town and being near the nightlife, sometimes, I just want to get back to Aiea and be surrounded by the familiar people and places I love.
