Dec. 31, 7 p.m.-2 a.m. at Aloha Tower Marketplace and The Waterfront — Hawaii’s largest New Year’s Eve party goes off block-party style at Aloha Tower, with 6 stages, more than 20 DJs, live bands, and fireworks at midnight of course. Dec. 31, 8 p.m.-6 a.m. at 805 Ala Moana Blvd. — Pure Coalition, No Way Out Entertainment, 00-Spot & Monster Energy present a party featuring DJs Myon & Shane 54, celebrating their internet radio show “International Departures,” and  recording live for their next show.

The Modern Experience, New Year’s Eve 2012

Ignite 2012: End of the World Party

Dec. 31, 8 p.m.-2:30 a.m. at RumFire and The Edge of Waikiki at the Sheraton Waikiki — The Sheraton celebrates with an extreme, fiery party that includes a meteor ball dropped from the top of the hotel, a Red Bull Base Jumper, up-close view of the fireworks and DJs Betty and Revise.

Dec. 31, 9 p.m.-2 a.m. at Mercury Bar — Hide your pigeons, hide your mice! Everybody’s favorite (at Mercury) band, Falcon Lord, makes a special reunion appearance, with new indie rock band The Catchers opening.
