New nightlife: RaKuen Lounge

RaKuen Lounge

From two established Chinatown business owners, Anita Clemente (pictured) of Fashionista’s Market and Anthony Carll of Black Cat Tattoo, comes Chinatown’s first sushi and cocktail lounge.

The first time I stopped by was literally within an hour of RaKuen opening its doors for the first time on Wednesday, November 16. I was in Chinatown anyway, and the thought of pau hana sushi made my mouth water. Unfortunately, there was no food at that point. “Come back on Monday,” Anita said. So I did.
