Look

Violinist Laurilyn Butin serenades our model, who is wearing a
Tadashi evening gown ($310) and Manolo Blahnik satin mules with rhinestone buckle

Look

Clarinetist Abe Weinstein heats things up for a night of jazz.
Jewelry courtesy of Tiffany & Co. 18-karat white gold and diamond lady’s cocktail
watch ($7,200). Her platinum and diamond pendant and earrings are, appropriately
enough, from the new Tiffany Jazz collection. Pendant, $2,500. Diamond drop earrings,

is a violinist with the Honolulu Symphony Orchestra, a private violin
instructor and the leader of the Ma-noa Strings quartet.

DJ James Coles performs Saturday nights at Zanzabar. He is on the airwaves
at 1043XME every Friday night, and is also the creative imaging director of Cox
Radio. He is the founder of a nonprofit, after school program, Musical Youth Of
Hawai’i.

Jeff
Peterson
teaches music at UH Ma-noa. His new CD is titled Kahealani (Hula
Records). You can find him performing at Michel’s, at the Colony Surf Hotel, on
Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
