Maui eats: Bistro Casanova
My friend Michi had told me to go to Bistro Casanova in Kahului, but I didn’t know what to expect. Whenever I told someone I planned to go there, they would say, “Oh, I hear that place is good!” But it didn’t seem like anyone I knew (other than Michi) had been there.
I’m glad my friend Dania Katz, who is with Edible Hawaiian Islands magazine, was able to join me. She brought her two charming kids, Lily and Noah, who were great company and lots of fun. Now we can say, with confidence from first hand experience, that Bistro Casanova is good.
Bistro Casanova
If you go to Bistro Casanova, try to go with friends so you can try more things. I had a hard time deciding what to order. If you go to the website, you can see the many unique menu items and understand why. They have a wide selection of items from the simple to the sublime.
