Lots to be thankful for

It’s easy to take what we have for granted.
We do it all the time.
In fact, we do it so often, there’s a national holiday to remember to be grateful.
Thanksgiving.
Forget this over-hyped meal shared between the Pilgrims and the Indians. Thanksgiving has turned into a commercialized holiday where families sit around a dinner table — maybe for the first time that year — to partake in a 15-pound turkey and pass around bowls of mashed potatoes and candied yams.
But it’s also a time when we can look around at our life — at the stack of bills on the table or the laundry piling up in the bathroom — and say, “Hmm, this isn’t so bad.”
So here are some — just some! — things I’m thankful for this Thanksgiving.
And yes, I’m thankful for you, too!
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
Indy!
