This week, TOMS launched Marketplace, a virtual showroom for dozens of emerging socially conscious companies, including Hawaii-based The Base Project. The site features six of its PVC pipe bracelets handmade in Namibia with proceeds going back to the artisans and their communities. Click around and you'll find everything from mod wine holders to stylish fixed gear bikes, all for a good cause.

 This week, 3660 on the Rise launches its November Early Dining Menu, a $38 three-course, prix fixe offering that changes weekly. Up first, hoisin-glazed Kurobuta pork belly, burgundy-braised beef ribs with truffle jus and Grand Marnier panna cotta. Next week, seafood and spinach tortellini in a yuzu butter sauce, catch of the day and a brownie sundae.

What:
The Lylas, a new reality show starring Bruno Mars' four sisters, premieres on WE tv tomorrow. Watch as Jaime, Tahiti, Tiara and Presley move to Los Angeles to pursue their music careers while dealing with the death of their mother (Mars himself does not appear). Sadly, Oceanic Time Warner doesn't carry WE tv on basic cable, though it appears registered subscribers can log in and watch it online.

What:
Explore what it takes to make an animated film during two free lectures at Kapiolani Community College. Tonight, Kathy Altieri, How to Train Your Dragon's production designer, and Lorna Cook, director of Spirit Stallion of the Cimarron, discuss how to merge story with art, drawing on past work on films like The Lion King and Prince of Egypt. Tomorrow, Altieri returns to explain what went into the making of Dragon and why dramatic edits were made.
