What: You can totally afford to witness the return of the prestigious Governor's Fashion Awards, Hawaii Fashion Month's closing event — especially now that we snagged you entrance for just $50! The ticket is good for the awards ceremony only and doesn't come with a fancy dinner, but you can still dress up, enjoy a high-fashion runway show, and rub elbows with Gov. Neil Abercrombie and Hawaii's biggest names in design, retail, photography, beauty, style and media.

On the Fright Track
What: Halloween takes over Royal Hawaiian Center with two spooktacular events. On Sunday, keiki get treated to a costume contest, parade and trick-or-treating throughout the Center. Gift cards and prizes will be awarded for different age groups, best parent and child costumes and overall grand champion. Then, since Waikiki is already the place to be on Halloween night, the Royal Grove transforms into a beer and wine garden where guests mingle while a live DJ spins.
When: Keiki costume contest – Sunday at 4 p.m. Beer and wine garden – next Thursday, October 31, 6-10 p.m.
