Kings of Spade with Sara Robinson & The Midnight Special
Honolulu band Kings of Spade, recently back from their Mainland tour, played a show at Republik Saturday with Tempe, AZ guest Sara Robinson & The Midnight Special, a catchy blues rock band with an incredibly powerful female frontwoman that has been making waves in Arizona. The show opened with new local rock band Roofie Roulette, the Erika Elona Band and tribal fusion bellydancers from Shakti Dance Movement before the two headliners took the stage.
The show was a fundraiser for Kings of Spade’s second studio album, which the band has begun work on already. The album is slated for completion in Nashville in September, with an October release date.
