Iron Chef Morimoto just opened an izakaya in Waikiki
Momosan Waikiki has ramen, yakitori, a beer garden and sake

Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto opened Momosan Waikiki at the Alohilani Resort across the street from Kuhio Beach Tuesday night, one floor below Morimoto Asia Waikiki. What’s the difference? Momosan has ramen, yakitori and izakaya dishes, plus an outdoor beer garden with craft beer and sake. Upstairs, Morimoto Asia serves small and big plates inspired by Japan, China, Korea, Thailand and Singapore. Both are more casual than the old Morimoto Waikiki at the Modern Honolulu, meaning they‘re also not as pricey. And you have a pretty good chance of spotting the Iron Chef at both.
