HONOLULU Fashion Week VIP preview
HONOLULU Fashion Week officially got underway Thursday night, with a VIP event for fashion insiders, friends and media that included a spirited runway show showcasing the collaboration between Hawaii’s Sig Zane and the New York-based line, Saturdays Surf NYC. The “Live Aloha” show also featured debut looks from acclaimed local interior designer Kaypee Soh, who introduced his first-ever womenswear collection.
Amy Hanaiali’i Gilliom and Willie K. kicked off Thursday’s gathering at the Hawaii Convention Center by performing songs from their new CD.
