HI*Sessions: Ryan Gonzalez
The HI*Sessions music video series continues, this time with Ryan Gonzalez, aka R. Vaughn. Ryan’s been part of Hawaii’s music scene for the past 14 years as a multi-instrumentalist with the Hawaiian group, ‘Ale’a. Recently, he started explore songwriting, singing and going in a different musical direction.
His music draws from his life experiences. As R.Vaughn, he borrows bits of acoustic folk, blues, pop and pop rock. He first gained national exposure for his iPhone music video, shot by Nonstop’s John Garcia. The video made its way on mashable.com, coldplay.com and cnn.com. His album, entitled, “Live From My Living Room,” is nearing completion.
