Hawaii Red Cross’ online auction

People are increasingly busy nowadays, and no one knows that better than the people at the Hawaii Red Cross. With just 42 staffers to run nine offices statewide, plus an army of volunteers, they have to work on a pretty tight ship — especially during disasters.

While they’re running around helping people back on their feet, you can help them by logging into their online auction, which launched yesterday. It’s easy: Just log in, browse the 134 items for sale, and bid. The auction closes on March 20, so make sure you check back to see if anyone else is bidding against you.

To kick off the online auction, the Hawaii Red Cross held a little tweetup last night to tell us a little more about what they do, then talk about the items for sale.

Mahalo to Big City Diner, Good to Grill, Kaimuki Grill, and Whole Foods for the generous food donations to the tweetup!
