Hawaii: In Real Life ~ A Little Bit of Everything

Hot on the heels of the Made in Hawaii Festival, we found this boutique on Kapiolani Boulevard that offers an extensive selection of locally made products. A Little Bit of Everything (@alboegifts) has … well, a little bit of everything: clothes, jewelry, bags, blankets, greeting cards, travel accessories, soaps, home accents and more. Most of these are from Hawaii artisans, some exclusive to the store.
We visited with A Little Bit of Everything’s Val Kubota to see what her store was all about, and found that she also holds special events and has a little room for classes, as one of her vendors regularly teaches interested customers how to make their own crafty cards and notepads. A Little Bit of Everything just celebrated its one-year anniversary, which is quite a feat in today’s economy.
This Saturday, Aug. 27, the store will be having a special trunk show to launch a new line of locally designed jewelry, Alabaster Box. Step inside the store, and check out some of the fun products we found.
After this video wrapped, we shopped around a little to see what else the store has and learn more about her classes. Here’s an extended video at HawaiiIRL.com.
