Hawaii: In Real Life ~ 11:11 with Alice Inoue

Alice Inoue doing my astrological chart on my birthday

Have you ever been “stalked” by numbers? I know my friend Nathan Kam has been saying for years that the number 337 appears for him everywhere, and he’s still trying to figure out its significance.

I got curious about this because I see people tweet and Facebook “11:11” at 11:11 every day. I don’t think the numbers are stalking me (or them), but they seem to hold great meaning for a lot of people.

If you Google 11:11, there are a  lot of different explanations for the phenomenon. Turns out, millions of people around the world feel that the number or time prompt 11:11 is not just stalking them, but is a symbol of positive energy flow, spirituality, and/or the time of spirit guardians.

On the flip side, the Mayans believe that the world will end on December 21, 2012 … at 11:11.

With 11/11/11 coming up, I wondered, is there something I need to know or do? The numbers don’t stalk me, but they can’t be avoided because of all the people who are into it. I went to see Alice Inoue (@AliceInoue) to get an astrological reading, then to get more insight into the numbers. She has an event on 11/11 at the Ala Moana Hotel to talk about all of these theories, current astrological cycles, the “end of the world as we know it,” life purpose, how this all helps you live your life positively, and more.

If you want to attend Alice’s event on 11/11, click here for more information.

We also hung out with her to find out more about what she’s been doing as a life guide, astrologer, feng shui expert, author, and ordained minister. Phew! That’s a lot of hats for one person. Check out our interview at HawaiiIRL.com.
