Now that presents are opened and Christmas is fading into a happy memory, we’re getting ready to welcome in 2016. Pour the Champagne, eat indulgently, jam out to your favorite tunes and count down in style!

Here’s your guide to New Year’s Eve happenings all around Oahu.

The 6th Annual Party of the Year will take place at Aloha Tower Marketplace, featuring Walshy Fire of Major Lazer, a fireworks shows, eight stages and areas of entertainment and a special area for Eat the Street.

The Eat the Street Food Truck & Vendor Arena will feature 25+ unique eats and treats. Six areas will showcase distinct styles of music, starting at 7 p.m. A special VIP Penthouse will be set up in the second-floor loft to offer an amazing view of the fireworks show and various stages.

Ring in the New Year with a heavenly, 360-degree view 21 stories above the beach. The special New Year’s Eve menu includes a New Zealand king salmon, mushroom arancini, and a choice of Kona cold lobster salad or persimmon, Burrata cheese and prosciutto salad. The entree will be a beef Oscar and the meal will finish up with a whipped citrus panna cotta. Savor the meal as the restaurant turns slowly to give diners a panoramic view of Waikiki, Diamond Head and Honolulu.

Guests who make reservations after 9:15 p.m. will also receive a complimentary Champagne toast to go along with the fireworks show.

All ages are welcome to the masquerade New Year’s Eve party with Nesian Nine and your friends at Turtle Bay. Doors open at 7 p.m. and dinner and entertainment start at 8 p.m. The show featuring Nesian Nine runs from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m., through the midnight countdown.

Cocktail attire required and parking is free. Special ticket options are available for groups of 4, 10 or 15, including private tables, bottles of house champagne and for VIP tables, premium liquors and party favors.

For the fifth year in a row, Bill Maher will be ringing in the New Year once again in the Hawaiian Islands featuring his biggest shows yet with New Year’s MAHERMEGEDDON. The legendary comedian and host of HBO’s Real Time will welcome special guests David Spade and Jeff Ross to the party for the first time, and promises to be the “Don Ho of New Year’s.”
