Georgie Pie Returns to Let Them Eat Cupcakes

The moment that kicked off Game of Thrones' biggest development this season—"Oh, look! The pie!"—reminded me of another pie to check out: Georgie Pie at Let them Eat Cupcakes. The pop-up pie shop, which ran for a few days during the holidays is back.

Every third Thursday and Friday, you'll find terrific pies in the Chinatown cupcake shop. On the menu this week: banana cream pie, chocolate cookie cream pie, caramel apple, and meat and potato hand pies (think of it as a shepherd's pie in portable pastry form). Either reserve your pie ahead of time or come right at 11 a.m.; last month, the pies sold out in half an hour.
