From the Publisher: Welcome to the New HonoluluMagazine.com

We’ve just launched our new mobile-friendly website and we can’t wait for you to experience it.

Whether you are a regular or an occasional visitor to HONOLULUMagazine.com, you’ve probably noticed a big change. We’re thrilled to unveil a newly redesigned website that fits to whatever device you’re using, whether a smart phone, a tablet or a desktop computer. It’s the same award-winning content displayed in a cleaner, sleeker format. You can now easily access HONOLULU’s dining, shopping, real estate, politics and current events on any platform. When we saw more than half of you were visiting our website from your mobile devices, we knew it was time to make a change.

Here are some of the huge improvements to our website that will make your user experience even better:

  • Our website adapts to whatever desktop computer, mobile device or tablet you’re using. Say goodbye to the annoying side-to-side scrolling and pinch-and-squeeze zooming.

  • You’ll notice larger fonts that are easier on the eyes. We’ve also updated the typefaces to match the style you’ve come to love in our print magazine.

  • You can enjoy the same larger, beautiful images from our magazine online, and you’ll start to see higher-quality images in our photo galleries.

  • On our homepage, we’ve highlighted the latest content so that the most recent stories are easier to find. Missed something? You can become a HONOLULU Insider to keep track of what’s going on in the city.

  • We’ve added our City Guides on all our main pages, so you can easily access our lists at your fingertips. You can now find related stories at the bottom of every article.

  • It’s easier to follow your favorite HONOLULU voices and personalities on social media with the launch of our new author pages. Find out what dish dining editor Martha Cheng is showcasing on her Instagram or what senior writer Loren Moreno is covering on the political scene on Twitter.

  • We’ve also improved the look of our Homebuyers’ Guide, so you can now easily search our online database for a Realtor in a specific neighborhood or specialty. Keep an eye out for the rest of our professional series, such as Hawaii’s Best Dentists and Best Doctors as we update those lists into searchable databases.

We hope you enjoy the fresh, redesigned website as much as we do.
