Cash Mob Otto Cake! Recently, drug dealers have assaulted and threatened Otto in front of his bakery (read more about this in managing editor Mike Keany's piece). Roy's Restaurants and the Social Wahines are organizing a Cash Mob (the opposite of a boycott) today to help support Otto.

A cocktail dinner at SALT tonight features classic cocktails with a four course dinner. A beet salad accompanies a Negroni Sbagliato, a twist on the classic Negroni, swapping out gin for Prosecco. Another pairs an alligator fricasse with a Sazerac.

Suport Leeward culinary arts at Leeward Community College by attending the L‘ulu gala, with chefs and farmers partnering up for the grazing event. Expect food by Alan Wong, Ama Ama at Aulani, Heeia Pier General Store and Deli, and Town.

This year, MAO Organic Farm's annual fundraiser is at the farm in Waianae. Arrive at 4 p.m. for the farm tour, then continue the night with cocktails, pupu and dinner by Town, starring MAO's organic produce, of course. Proceeds fund MAO's Youth Leadership Training program that puts young people from the Leeward community through college.
