First Annual Republik Music Festival

BAMP’s new annual traveling music fest hosted an amazing lineup of rock, hip hop and reggae artists at Kakaako Waterfront Park on Saturday night. Steel Pulse, Matisyahu, Rebelution, The Dirty Heads, The Green and The Throwdowns all took the stage for a sold-out concert that lasted about six and a half hours. Somewhere around 7,000 people braved intermittent showers to watch the show, but despite the rain, spirits were high. Nonstop’s Tracy Chan and Ed Morita teamed up to bring you photos of the bands and the crowd.
