ETS debut: Momo Burger

The year’s final Eat the Street happens tomorrow, Friday night, at new digs at 805 Ala Moana Blvd. Why the temporary move? Ice skating, people, on faux ice, with accompanying skate rentals plus 37 food trucks and street food vendors!

In keeping with the holiday theme, trucks and booths are having a decorating contest, with you as the judges. Eaters get to vote; those who do will be entered into a drawing to win $50 in food vouchers for next month’s ETS.

And for this final ETS of 2011, three new vendors enter the mix: Street Frites, selling Belgian-style thick-cut fries with homemade sauces like bacon jam, lilikoi honey mustard, li hing mango duck sauce, chocolate chili and vanilla cream; Lox of Bagels, the Sand Island shop with the island’s first bagel truck, selling bagels with smoked salmon and cream cheese alongside its specialty sandwiches; and Momo Burger, whose gourmet fare you can see below.

When: Friday, Dec. 16 from 4-9 p.m.
Where: 805 Ala Moana Blvd. (next to the Acura dealership)
Admission: Free admission; ice skates available for rent
