ETS debut: Five-O Hawaiian Style Smoked Ribs

The year’s first Eat the Street happens tonight, with 41 food trucks and street food vendors slinging all kinds of good eats. This month’s theme is a luau (ETS is one year old!), so leave room for variations on kalua pig, poke and Hawaiian-themed desserts. And keep an eye out for five newbies in the mix, including a sleek truck painted in black, red and white — pretty much the same hot color scheme as Nonstop’s logo (pure coincidence, we’re sure).

What: Eat the Street It’s a Luau
When: Friday, Jan. 27 from 4-9 p.m.
Where: 805 Ala Moana Blvd. next to the Acura dealership
Admission: Free
Parking: $2 for parking in lot across the venue (parking meter on ewa side of lot; park in marked stalls). Parking also available on surrounding streets in Kakaako
