Eat the Street: Garlic
The mouthwatering scent of garlic and roasting meat were in the air at Eat the Street’s annual Garlic fest, featuring street food vendors from all over the Island serving up dishes with the pungent herb like the special garlic adobo chicken wings with garlic fried rice from Elena’s Filipino, several vendors serving garlic shrimp, Twisted Taters’ Garlic, Cheese, Ranch, Green Onion & Bacon Nachos, Smokin’ Wings and Things’ amazing garlic glazed fried chicken wings, and a couple brave vendors with garlicky desserts like the Oatmeal Almond Garlic Cookies from the Girls Who Bake Next Door.
