Eat the Street: Bacon Lovers


Eat the Street’s annual homage to everyone’s favorite cured meat was extremely popular as in times past – big crowds came out to Makers & Tasters to enjoy the summer night and chow down on bacon-themed or bacon-topped offerings like Wild Candy Bacon’s candied bacon sticks with red chili, Bao Tao’n’s “Put a Pork In It” bacon bao, Ono Kettle Pop’s maple bacon kettle corn, newcomers Biscuit N’ Bacon’s coffee bacon biscuit sandwich, Mega-Load’s pineapple fried rice with bacon on top, yummy bacon macarons from The Sugar Hut, an entire menu of bite-sized bacon-battered goodies from Hawaii’s Fried Musubi, and many other mouthwatering dishes.

Special guests Seoul Sausage (Winners of The Great Food Truck Race) from LA were kept busy all night, flipping dozens of Korean-style sausages for an appreciative line of hungry fans.
