Eat A Rainbow cooking demos

Aside from being National Pancake Day, March 1 is also the beginning of National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. Many studies have proven that eating a high fiber diet consisting of a wide variety of colorful fruits and vegetables can help reduce the likelihood of colorectal cancer.
To raise awareness, Hawaii’s the American Cancer Society is holding a series of cooking demos called “Eat A Rainbow” to teach people how to cook healthy meals. The free cooking demos will be held at Queen’s Cancer Center, Kapi’olani Women’s Center, Castle Medical Center, Kuakini Medical Center and Kaiser Medical Center.
