Ala Moana Center joins dozens of cities around the globe this weekend for Fashion’s Night Out, a worldwide event that coincides with the start of Fashion Week. Events, workshops, fashion shows, exclusive merchandise, in-store demos and giveaways will be happening from Sept. 8-11; here are a few highlights:

-Fashion’s Night Out Kickoff festivities with DJs and Alt/Air performing at Centerstage: Thursday, Sept. 8 from 5-9 p.m.

-Andy South fashion show at Neiman Marcus: Join Neiman Marcus and local celeb designer Andy South for the launch of Andy’s Fall Fashion line. Thursday, Sept. 8 at 6 p.m.

-Firefighters’ Night Out at Centerstage: Check out the men of the Hawaii Fire Fighters’ Association as they model fall fashions from a number of Ala Moana vendors. Friday, September 9 at 7 p.m.

-Fashion shows all day at Centerstage: A lineup of haute runway events brings you the latest fall fashions every hour, on the hour. Saturday, Sept. 10 from noon-8:30 p.m.

-Hope for Japan Runway Show at Centerstage: There’s a new Hope for Japan kiosk opening beween Chanel and Louis Vuitton; preview the T-shirts created by local graphic designers to benefit Japan tsunami relief efforts, plus a fashion show by award winning designer Ryoto Shiga. Sunday, September 11 at 2 p.m.
