Los Angeles rock band 30 Seconds to Mars plays a much-anticipated show at The Waterfront this Thursday, joined for a DJ set by Shiny Toy Guns members Jeremy Dawson and Carah Faye Charnow. The band, with such hits as “The Kill,” “Closer to the Edge” and “This is War,” has become known for thoughtful, philosophical lyrics and concept albums, as well as high-energy live shows.
