First Friday is here again, and there are all sorts of interesting things going on during this month’s Art Walk, and afterward at the clubs. Here are a few highlights to help you figure out where to hit:

-Underground Celebrity photography exhibition @ The Human Imagination: Photographer/promoter/DJ/hip-hop boutique About The Goods manager Riana Stellburg presents her debut solo photo exhibit, featuring the underrated cultivators of the Hawaii hip-hop scene. 6-9 p.m., free.

-Department of Spectacle @ Hotel Street between Smith & Maunakea: HAPA and The ARTS at Marks Garage make a spectacle, with outrageous costumed models from IONA Dance Company and Cherry Blossom Cabaret, Art Truck Hawaii, DJs, drawing and more. 8-10 p.m., $3-$5 donation for drawing supplies, free otherwise.

-Artists talk @ Andrew Rose Gallery (Pauahi Tower, 1003 Bishop St.): Ever met a Tropical Modernist? The Andrew Rose gallery hosts some of the artists from its new Contemporary Hawaiian Landscape Painting gallery. 7 p.m., free.

-ARTmusicBEER @ the Chinatown Courtyard: Check out vendors like Project P Bowties, the special Firebird Photo-hosted pop-up shop with 60s and 70s-inspired vintage clothes and accessories, wood block prints by Sergio Garzon, and more, with DJ Mr. Nick and grinds from Cafe 888, all on the ground floor across from Little Village. 5-10 p.m., free.

-Super Groupers with NME band @ NextDoor: Local hip-hop group Super Groupers perform live with the NME Band, early in the night. 7-10 p.m., free.

-Wing Ice Cream Parlor’s Shaved Ice Dealer music project (1145 Maunakea Ave.): If you haven’t checked out Miller Royce’s new ice cream parlor, now’s the time. Plus, during First Friday, you’ll get to hear their new music project. It’s like, electronic drones and soundscapes and stuff, man.

-Subphonix Birthday Extravaganza @ Mercury: Drum & bass DJs THD and Sejika celebrate their birthdays by bringing the bass, along with Asylum’s Cryptik and Pat Park, making his Subphonix debut. 10 p.m.-2 a.m., $5, 21+.
