Party in Irish style at the enormous annual St. Patrick’s Day block party, thrown by Murphy’s Bar & Grill in Chinatown. The streets around Murphy’s will be blocked off for thousands of locals and visitors (last year we even ran into a few Irish tour groups) to partake in the Irish brews, spirits and food available.

This year, the party at Murphy’s starts at noon, with a Guinness Oyster Bar boasting oysters, steamed clams, sauteed shrimp and crab cakes. At sunset, the street festival kicks off and the madness begins, with live music by Doolin’ Rakes and Elephant, and food & drink booths set up all along the street. Wear green or you’ll get pinched for sure!
