Renegade San Fran reggae/rocksteady rockers The Whiskey Avengers invade the Island this weekend with a couple shows; The first at Mercury Bar with Black Square and Campfire on Thursday night, and the second at The Clampdown, Anna O’Brien’s monthly punk/ska/rock night, with Black Square and Slowtymers on Friday. Now a quartet, the band is known for their very danceable Jamaican rocksteady roots infused with rock, soul and folk.
