Did this: Punahou Carnival
Did this: Punahou Carnival

I’ll have to admit, I was never excited about the Punahou Carnival growing up, probably because no one close to me went to school there. Plus, being from Aiea, we always looked forward to the 50th State Fair at the stadium. Now that I live with a proud Punahou alum (my roommate Priya) just down the street from the school, the first weekend in February has taken on more significance. I’ve been craving corn on the cob, Portuguese bean soup, and of course, malasadas. This year my good friend Wendy and I decided to hit up the carnival after work on Friday.
