I’m highly liking this stretch of Kakaako lately. Lonely and desolate a few months ago, now this single block on Auahi is wall to wall: old-timer Hank’s Haute Dogs around the corner on Coral, then the trusty liquor store, the new R&D incubator space next to the new Greenhouse Innovation Hub, Insomnia Cafe with Eat the Street organizer Streetgrindz headquartered upstairs, and now, Bob McGee’s locally sourced Whole Ox deli just opened around the corner on Keawe. Good things are happening here.

Greenhouse, BTW, is owned by John Garcia and Doc Rock of Nonstop Honolulu, so I am totally partial.
