Late registration takes place Dec. 8 through 10 at the Honolulu Marathon Expo, held at the Hawai‘i Convention Center.

Now in its 44th year, the Honolulu Marathon is the fourth largest in the U.S., with about 30,000 participants, almost half of whom come from Japan. It’s held every year on the second Sunday in December—for 2016, that’s Dec. 11. Late registration takes place Dec. 8 through 10 at the Honolulu Marathon Expo, held at the Hawai‘i Convention Center.
