At this year's Shop for Higher Education Awards, Foodland granted nearly 100 Hawaii high school seniors college scholarships. Since the program began in 2006, more than 600 scholarships have been awarded to college-bound seniors, totaling more than $1.2 million.
On May 9, Lovelessizm and Lava Roses designer Richie Miao debuted Loveizm, a high-end apparel line with urban, edgy designs for men and women. Models showed off zipper-embellished jackets, ruched dresses, and shirts with asymmetrical hems in soft, silk–cotton blends and modals.
