Can’t miss events this summer
With summer only a few weeks away, it’s a good time to highlight some of the biggest events taking place starting from late May and through Labor Day. These are concerts, festivals, shows, movies and parties definitely worth marking on your calendar, or for probably many of you, punching into your mobile phones.
50th State Fair

This year’s 50th State Fair features ostrich and camel races, a European-style circus, a dog and cat show, the Backyard Circus and Family Puppet Parade, live music as well as E.K. Fernandez rides and games and lots of food. Many of us grew up going to this fair, and there’s a good reason it goes on year after year.
