Beyond gyros and baklava: Greek Fest menu preview
Greek Festival
The 31st Greek Festival happens at Ala Moana Park’s McCoy Pavilion this weekend, promising major eating, drinking and dancing. Organizers expect 10,000 people per day for the two-day fest.
Co-chair Eres Eddy wants you to know they won’t skimp on the food. She’s introducing an Olympic plate showcasing everything on offer: Greek chicken, spanakopita, mousaka, dolmathes, feta cheese, pita bread, salad, rice, olives and baklava. Enough for two for $24. Ala carte, everything runs from $2 to $7.
