Best of the Hawaii Food & Wine Festival

After a week of phenomenal food by 75 of the best chefs from around the world, it proved difficult to pick the best of the best dishes and moments. Spread over 17 events, chefs continuously wowed attendees, resulting in a week-long foodie celebration from which I am still recovering.

The gambit of choices proved to be mind boggling, but I’ve managed to whittle my list of favorites down to 14 picks.

One of the first real eye openers for me at this year’s festival was Chef Bryant Ng’s cereal prawns, which included fried prawns topped with toasted corn flakes, then mixed with salt and milk powder to add sweetness and texture.
