Hilo mom Danna Eady started spinning the organic sweet for one of her kids who is allergic to red dye. Now it offers nine versions, all featuring pure fruit flavors without artificial dyes or flavoring. One other family-friendly feature: Spun Paradise comes in a resealable tub so your little ones can save some for later.

Kids eat free every Monday and Tuesday night. That’s just one reason Gyotaku has been a Best of HONOLULU Family winner three years in a row. The Keiki Menu includes favorites such as chicken karaage, udon, tempura and sushi with shave ice or ice cream included, and a chance to pick a toy from the keiki prize basket. Spinning, swinging and gliding from silks suspended from the ceiling; you can see why it’s easy to get wrapped up in aerial arts classes. Samadhi Hawai‘i began kid classes in 2008. Now, as many as 80 keiki, as young as 4, are learning how to do tricks and developing skills
on silks and the dance trapeze.
